Carson, Jr., nicknamed “Bill”, grew up watching his parents
work in their business. They encouraged his interest, allowing him to
join them. He did odd jobs like sorting empty bottles and sweeping floors.
After college and 2 years in the Air Force, Bill returned to Muskogee
and became plant manager. The Love’s expanded their distribution
territory, purchasing bottling plants in McAlester, Pryor, Okmulgee, Vinita
and Atoka.
Bottling
Company’s growth continued with Dr Pepper products and K.C. Love
beverages. In 1969, the Love’s bought the Coca-Cola bottling plants
in Muskogee and Stigler, thus serving customers with a larger variety
of soft drinks. In 1979, a 135,000 square foot bottling facility was built
on a 52-acre tract of land in Muskogee, increasing production of Coca-Cola,
Dr Pepper and Love Beverages.

son, Barry, grew up in the business. His first job was picking up nails
in the parking lot for a penny a piece. Today, Barry is the President
of the company. Products and services have been expanded to include home
and office water delivery, Mountain Valley Spring Water, Love Spring Water
and Drinking Water and cooler rentals, and most recently we have added
coffee and coffee essentials.

and Violet Love believed in giving back to the community. That tradition
has continued through support to educational programs, scholarships, youth
recreation, and charitable and civic contributions.
